Windsor

In the centre of this historical town, The Bel and the Dragon is just a short stroll from al the shops, the theatre and of course, Windsor Castle, as well as being just across the bridge Eton High Street and Eton College.

Set in an 11th century alehouse that has been in existence 200 years longer than the aforementioned esteemed school.

As you would expect from such an ancient building, the interior is warm and intimate - drawing people form far and wide as well as proving popular with local 'Oppidans'. We're right by the Thames - for those discovering the splendour of the river - and our terrace sits in the shadow of Windsor castle.

The feel is relaxed, the food is superb, beautifully prepared & presented freshly cooked using market produced ingredients, by our team of highly trained chefs.

Food

Emphasis here is on quality, on the bottom of each menu there is a reminder that "We are not a fast food outlet, we cook everything with great care, to order, using only the best fresh ingredients". Delicious daily specials complement the main menu perfectly. Diners can choose to eat in the spacious main restaurant or snuggle up in our cosy bar.
