Wayne joined in July 2008 as Finance Director.  Wayne, an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, has spent his working life in the licensed retail trade, building on his year in industry placement with Whitbread plc where he continued to do university vacation work whilst studying for his BA (Hons) in Business Management at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

From 1997 to 2006 Wayne held a variety of roles with Whitbread Group plc, including head of Financial Planning and Analysis, Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, Financial Controller at Premier Travel Inn and Business Analyst/Project Manager at Laurel Pub Company, where he was seconded to work on the refinancing of the debt following the £1.6billion venture capital purchase of the Whitbread pub estate in May 2001.

Immediately before joining Premium, Wayne was Head of Finance at Barracuda Group Ltd, a position he held for just over two years.
