The Living Room in York has 165 cover restaurant and a 250 capacity bar and is situated on the first floor within the riverside 'Merchant Exchange' development on Bridge Street adjacent to the Ouse Bridge. The Living Room restaurant focus remains on sourcing the best quality ingredients, preparing them simply and delivering bags of flavour and texture on the plate. The Living Room in York has a number of tables situated ‘al fresco’ on the fabulous balcony that envelops the corner of the venue weather permitting.
Eclectic, yet the focus remains on two broad types of cuisine. A section of 'Home Comforts' honour the gastro pub flavour. The second style suits those with more varied tastes; an elegant European / global fusion interspersed with fine British classics.
